Conterra performs all site lease acquisition, civil work, FCC licensing, construction, and network provisioning and provides a network service to the fiber carrier partner and/or wireless carrier.


Conterra can collocate within existing wireless carrier shelters and cabinets or can install carrier-neutral cabinets within a site compound. Installations are carrier grade with -48VDC battery plants, rectifiers, power distribution panels, and environmental control provided by HVAC units. Self-contained generator and fuel units can be included as an option. Master Service Agreements (MSAs) are maintained with all major tower collocation companies and Conterra secures 24 hour access to all equipment and facilities.



Conterra can maintain a carrier-neutral presence at each cellsite location and can serve multiple customers. Conterra equipment can be powered by a Conterra power feed or off of existing wireless carrier power if desired. Facilities are trenched to each carrier in the compound and fiber, coax, or twisted pair connections can be established to each carrier. Additional TDM circuits or Ethernet bandwidth can be remotely provisioned without a truck roll when additional capacity is needed.

All tower equipment such as antennas and coaxial feedlines are installed and maintained by Conterra. High MTBF equipment is installed on the tower and is serviced 7x24 by Conterra field operations and tower climbers. Conterra acquires and maintains all necessary FCC licenses and performs the necessary structural analysis before networks are deployed.
